Carnival!

Cambourne Youth Partnership and Start-Arts wants to hear from young people who would like to take part in this very ambitious four year cultural celebration culminating in 2012. Over the next four years participants can go to workshops on costume design, drumming, dance and music and can begin to use their skills to help create a mini Carnival as part of the Cambourne Youth Street Festival next summer. The workshops and classes require no prior experience and will build over the next four years so that Cambourne's young people can join thousands of others from across the country in a variety of events during the lead up to mass celebrations in 2012.
