• Wed 28 Jan: Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge: lunchtime talk (1:15 to 1:45 on "Sargent, the Modernist"), and the exhibition of works by John Singer Sargent (1856-1925), Walter Sickert (1860-1942) and Stanley Spencer (1891-1959). The talk and exhibition are free. Pay your own bus fare (eg 10:55am from outside Morrisons) and voluntary £1 contribution to museum. Bus stops outside the museum.

February

• Mon 8 Feb 7.30 Monkfield Arms: The Art Gang. Bring your favourite poetry, and read it to the group.
• Trip to a Cambridge theatre
• Possible trip to "Twelfth Night" from the RSC at the Duke of York's theatre (London), with Richard Wilson as Malvolio. Top price seats £25 (usually £42.50) for performances Mon-Fri from 18 Jan to 12 Feb, subject to availability.
